Growing up on a farm, Jane Francis took care of many animals. She named them all and they were her friends.
She hopes her readers find joy in watching and learning about animals and nature from books.
When Jane is not writing she is tutoring students in reading and math and tending her garden. She lives with her husband and four cats. They all enjoy backyard bird watching.
